This azure coastline of the Mediterranean delivers everything it promises. Whether you go east or west from Nice there are stunningly beautiful places to visit, all within half an hours journey time by car, train or coach.
To the East firstly you encounter Villefranche, the exclusive peninsula of Cap Ferrat and Beaulieu before reaching Monte Carlo in the principality of Monaco. Beyond this you discover the beautiful Italianate resort of Menton before crossing the Italian border at Ventemiglia.
To the West of Nice you discover the peninsula of the Cap d'Antibes with the lively town of Antibes on one side and the resort of Juan-Les-Pins on the other. Almost immediately after this you come upon Cannes, famous for its many festivals.
